SNJ Charitable trust

We are very pleased to be working with SNJ, a charity who are renown for the work they do both in the UK and India. In January 2022, immediately after the initial consult, we secured  the online Centre status for SNJ. Since then, our responsibilities include researching and bidding for grants and project managing Essential Digital Skills and Enterprise training in the Black country in the West Midlands.

SUCCESS STORY

More recently, through the UKCRF Digital Skills Pathway Project, and the CRF 50+ Innovation Fund projects, out of the 120 learners,  60 have received Huawei devices and Mifi’s so far. The Data cards that we bid and procured through the National Data Bank scheme will benefit a further 450 learners in the next six months. The outstanding success of the UKCRF project has been acknowledged and as recognition, Good Things Foundation has extended the contract for another 70 learners in the next 3 months.

WHAT'S NEXT?

Our next project is aimed at 50+ women  focusing on ‘employability and enterprise skills’.
The project outcomes are:

  • distributing devices to 20 learners

  • helping them with business planning

  • teaching them digital skills that are specific to each learners’ needs

  • bringing these women together in a forum so they continue to support each other beyond the project
